Effect:
To name someone's selection of a card by memorizing the order of deck.
Preparation:
Before the performance, Set the cards in this order: 8,K,3,10,2,7,9,5,Q,4,A,6,J. With regards to the order of the suit, it should be: Clubs, Hearts, Spades, Diamonds. Now, to remember the numeric order of the cards, simply memorize this:"8 kings threatened to save 95 queens 4 1 sick knave(An old English word means knight which is the card J represents). Use the word CHaSeD to remember the suit order (clubs, Hearts, Spades, Diamonds.)
Procedure:
Once someone picks a card, quickly peek at the card above it. With good practice and memorizing, you should already know what card they are holding.
